The Queen’s Lounge

The Queen’s Lounge, located just to the west of The Read Queen Bookstore & Cafe is the perfect spot to enjoy that latte, fresh scone, and bookshelf-find you just scored at the main store.  Cozy and comfy, but also elegant – fit for a Queen, but humble enough for us common folk too.  We have a great sunny patio off the main store, but when our blustery Colorado winter days are blowing in a snowstorm, this is a great place to take shelter.  Open the same hours as the main store for walk-in guests

With regrets, we no longer offer the option to rent the Queen’s Lounge for private events. Our storage capacity has overgrown the office and, too often, we need to use the Lounge for additional space. Thank you for your understanding.
