The Queen’s Lounge

The Queen’s Lounge, located just to the west of The Read Queen Bookstore & Cafe is the perfect spot to enjoy that latte, fresh scone, and bookshelf-find you just scored at the main store.  Cozy, and comfy, but also elegant – fit for a Queen, but humble enough for us common folk too.  We have a great sunny patio off the main store, but when our blustery Colorado winter days are blowing in a snowstorm, this is a great place to take shelter.

Open the same hours as the main store for walk-in guests, The Queen’s Lounge can also be reserved and rented by the hour for your book club or company meeting.  There is one large room in the lounge which you can rent for $50/hour.

Room rental entitles your group to a 10% discount on all cafe items.  For larger groups, we offer fresh baked scones (blueberry and raspberry) for $30.00/dozen. A carafe of brewed coffee (serves 15), regular or decaf, with 1/2 & 1/2 or plant milk options is available for $25.00. Place your order in advance and we will have it ready for you, so no delays in getting the most out of your meetings.
